Sean is by far the sweetest, laid back little guy. Don't get me wrong, he has his moments, but for the most part he is perfectly happy playing alone with his cars or trains for hours. He says some of the cutest things I've ever heard! My favorite right now is "sqwamich" which is sandwich. I'm not sure where it came form, but every day I ask him what he wants for lunch and he says "sqwamich!" I love that he calls apple juice "apple sauce" when I ask him what he wants to drink. He's finally starting to give lots of hugs and kisses, which he never really did before. I love hearing him say I love you Mommy - its the best thing in the world! His speech has come such a long way - he was very slow to talk, but now he doesn't stop!! He has zero interest in potty training. None. He is perfectly happy being taken care of, especially by Emma. He loves his sister!
Emma. What can I say? She is the most independent, stubborn little thing I have ever met! She is the complete opposite of Sean - wants to do everything by herself. She loves to make the sandwiches at lunch and just recently started dressing and undressing herself. She is slightly more interested in potty training than Sean, but only of the stars and moon are in alignment. Everything is on her terms! My most favorite thing she says is "oh my dear goodness!" It is the cutest thing! She is really into babies, especially since she has two new little cousins to take care of. She is all girl - everything is "so cute" and "beaufital" She demands a lot more attention than Sean - rarely plays alone except when she is reading. She loves to cuddle and will randomly come up and I say "I love you Mommy" or "you're so gorgeous!" But her temper - watch out. When Emma ain't happy, nobody in a 10 mile radius is happy LOL! I don't know how something so adorable can turn into something so . . . scary!

Awww...so nice to read on Sean and Emma. Sounds like are as distinct in their personalities as my twins. I am sure that hearing "I love you Mommy" melts your heart. Right now, my heart melts when I hear them say "Mamma" when I pick them up or want something from me...so sweet!
Let me know how this potty training thing is going to work out--not easy for sure, right?
