Egg coloring

For some insane reason, Mommy thought it would be fun to color easter eggs today. What a mess! But we had fun. We can't say the same for Mommy, but it was her idea! So after several broken eggs and stained hands, here is the fun!

Starts off easy enough . . .
Sean's huge smile after he spilled the blue dye everywhere (AAAARRGGHH!)
Watching them color
Sean praying his turns blue (to match his hands and fingernails!)
Emma wishing she picked pink again instead of green
Letting them dry during nap (thank goodness - Mommy needed a break!)
Emma's pretty pink egg
Sean's was supposed to be blue, but he threw it into the pink before Mommy could stop him. Oh well, he's comfortable having a pink egg.
Adding the stickers
Are you sure I can't eat this??
Ta-da! Our finished products!!

you are brave!!!! They did a great job!! I colored the eggs during their nap, and then gave them paint and stickers to decorate them... We still ended up with two broken eggs.

They did so well!!! I never colored eggs as a child, but some of Scott's favorite memories about Easter were doing that with his mother. I can't wait to do it with our twosome.

Oh gosh...that brings back lots of memories. I think it's great fun, and a BIG mess but what is life without a big mess every so often? Boring!! Although, no matter what I did, I seemed to have a big mess anyway...lol
