(Mommy post!)
I post lots of pictures and little stories, but never really post updates about them!
Sean~
What can I say, he is such a sweet little boy. Really. He doesn't talk a whole lot - he is quite capable - but only talks when he needs to! He has a very quiet voice and rarely gets angry. Some of the cutest things he says are things with "L's" It comes out like "yook" (look), "yettuce" (lettuce) and "yeyyow" (yellow). I'm not sure if I should laugh or correct him, but it is absolutely adorable! His new expression is "ho-k" (okay). He answers that to every question! He likes to play by himself, but will occasionally come up to me and take my hand. He says in the quietest little voice "mommy, come on" and drag me into his room to play. He thinks that Emma is the funniest thing in the world. He is constantly laughing at her and his laugh is infectious. He is very fast, and very strong. We can't wait to get him into sports! He's still on the skinnier side, just barely fitting in size 2 clothes, but he is solid. His concentration is amazing - he recently sat through and entire college hockey game with his Daddy! He loves his cousin Riley and calls her "baby." He is so sweet and gentle with her and is always giving her his toys saying "here baby!" He loves to eat and will usually be at the table 30 minutes loner than Emma just plugging along at his plate! And then will move on to Emma's unfinished plate! Some of his favorite foods are grilled cheese, meatballs, chicken nuggets, and any kind of fruit imaginable. He doesn't really like sweets very much, he would much rather eat raisins than cookies!! He loves anything cars or trains. And knows the names of most of the Thomas trains just by looking at them.
Emma~
What can I say about my Emma! She keeps me on my toes and tests my patience daily! They are true opposites in every sense of the word! She loves to talk - all the time - about everything! She is very loud and you always know when she is in the room! She is definitely the boss and lets Sean know it. But she also takes care of him all the time. She always make sure that Sean has whatever she has. In the morning I give them vitamins and she always goes first and takes one for Sean. Her vocabulary is amazing and she can (and will) repeat everything! You have to be very aware of what you say around her. She loves to be with people. Unlike Sean, she always wants someone to play with her. You can here her say all day long "mommy, play?" She gives the biggest and best hugs in the world! And she is very much a cuddler, unlike her brother. She is also on the skinnier side, barely fitting into her size 2 clothes. But like her brother, is very fast and strong! She loves gymnastics and I can't wait to get her into real classes this fall. I think she's going to be very good at it. She hates eating and usually takes about 2 bites of something and then is done. She does like her "logurt" (yogurt) though. She would eat this 3 times a day if she could. And she also has a huge sweet tooth. I don't know how she continues to grow with the teeny amounts of food she eats in a day! She is in to all things princess and loves to go shopping with Mommy. She also loves singing and knows the words to a lot of songs.
I'm not going to lie, its been tough lately. This age is not easy, and then multiply it by two and there are a lot of stressful days! I think I say the same thing about 100 times a day, then wake up and start all over again! But I know in my heart they are wonderful children. They behave in any situation and I can always count on them outside the house. We have started going places without the stroller (GASP!) and they have been doing really well! Its nice to have a little more independence now that they are older. I feel like I can go places with them on my own without having to lug the huge double stroller. We start Story Time on Monday so we will see how that goes. We are going to Disney in May and I can't wait! Maybe we're crazy taking two 2 year olds, but I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when they see "Cinda's" castle for the first time. Or meet Mickey and Minnie in real life.
Well I am sure there a hundred things I am forgetting, but I can always post them later!

What a sweet update!
I swear you just described my two, beside Gilbert does not eat.
Some days are hard, but the end of the day I would not trade them for anything.
What a great update!
Just wanted to let you know I think they are both very special kids. Sean holds a very special space in my heart, he is sensitive and caring, and is going to be a wonderful kid. Emma, Emma, She is a bull in a china shop! I think her devilish laugh is awesome and she will achieve whatever she sets her sights on when she grows up! I love them both very much and am looking forward to seeing them both this weekend!
I'm sure you noticed, but sean says is L's like Y's and emma says her Y's like L's... I cant wait to see them!
