Gymnastics

We went to our first big kid gymnastics class the other day. We've done gymnastics before, but this time parents don't come go on the floor with the kids. I brought them over to the teacher and and then went to the balcony to watch! I wasn't sure they were going to stay with the teacher, but they did a great job! I was very impressed! They did a little warm up with the other kids. Then the teacher split them into 2 groups. She told Emma to go sit on the beam with a few other kids. After a few seconds, Emma realized the teacher wasn't telling Sean to go sit on the beam with her. She started yelling "SEANIE! Come sit with me!" So Sean listened and sat with Emma. The teacher asked them if they were twins and they both just stared at her. She looked at their names and concluded they were and let them stay together! I don't mind them being separated, but I thought the very first class might be a disaster and they wouldn't stay in their group! Anyway, they did a great job listening and had a blast. And Emma was by far the best dressed gymnast there. They are taking classes where I used to be on the team for years. I spent many years and many, MANY hours there working out. Very strange to be the parent on the other side! I don't know how my mom did it!

Look at how big they are getting. They look like kids, not babies anymore :(
