Park fun!

We went to he park this morning! It is the first time I have taken them all by myself. The park is pretty big and is not fenced in so I have always been nervous. But what a difference a year makes! They did so well. Everyone listened and no one got lost!

It's funny how different they are. Emma is fearless - she climbs the big kid playground without stopping. Right up to the top and down the slides. She wants me to push her "to the sky" on the swings, the whole time screaming laughing the higher she goes. Sean on the other hand kind of lingers at the bottom of the play things. He is just as happy on the little toddler playground and the smaller slides. And he loves the swings, but if you ask if he wants to go high, he says "no, Mommy."

Emma made a friend at the park. She was actually a twin, too. It was a little girl who was 4. They were running around playing together. Emma kept calling her "lady!" Then they were all sitting in the sand box and the little girl asked Emma what her Daddy's name was and she proudly said "Daddy!" The conversation was hilarious. Sean also joined in on it, but kept just kept pointing to Emma and saying her name. I think the little girl was pretty confused!

There are sadly no pictures, because I needed to focus on watching them, rather than snapping shots! But maybe next time I can get someone to come with me!
