Missed the memo . . .

(Mommy post)

Somewhere in their development, my children missed the memo that change is not supposed to be easy. They moved to their big boy/big girl beds the other night and never looked back. No fussing, no crying, no being scared of the big beds. They have slept in them all night, and napped in them like nothing changed. They do like to get out and play when they first go in their room, but who wouldn't? They get up in the morning and stay their room until I come open the door. Same thing with naps. Of course, this could be a honeymoon phase, and I don't take anything for granted, but it hasn't been nearly as traumatic as I though it would be. Well, its traumatic for me, my last shreds of them being babies are pretty much gone. All we have left is diapers and binkys - and I am hanging on to those for dear life.

These kids seriously just roll with the punches all the time. I feel so blessed to have such easy babies. People say it to me all the time, but it's really starting to register how lucky I really am.

I think they are awesome!! They are a product of their Mom and Dad who never lose it, always keep their sense of humor about the things they do, and most of all...they let them be kids and love them unconditionally all the time...take that with you all through life and you will be blessed as much as I was.....
